Hi Damian
They do look nice, but the problem I had with the original was no matter how tight I made them they always moved at speed.

Hi Conrad and Charles
One thing I should have mentioned, my favourite sport car of all time is the original 3.8 E Type. There has never been anything to come close.

Damian, I can tell you what not to buy. Don't get the swing mirrors like i have on mine. they vibrate too much.
very nice ronnie, but man are the e types pricey these days

Hi Damian
Those chrome mirrors are very nice and look just like the original 1600 mirrors. I would consider those if I ever replace mine. I thought about it some time ago but Spikes changed my mind. They may be small but they can be adjusted like no other mirror which makes them quite useful.
The mirror on the right hand side started to feel a bit loose, but I fixed it perfectly with a small plastic tie down. They have given me years of good service.

Do you guys think this is real? or a camera trick? or has anyone actually been to Moekgatle to vouch for the angel on this hill? If climbed some pretty steep stuff and as long as you have good traction, it is usually doable.
Regards Spencer

Some camera tricks. It is a steep angle but they way they shot it makes it look worse than it is. Look how the grass on the hill grows at a angle. At that time the trees are also at a angle. As far as I know plants grow upwards.

This picture is a must for everyone who still has original winders in their NIVAs. The top left hand in the picture is the real bastard to get to

surfing the net on my old (very old) laptop now. Had a hard disk crash earlyer this week. luckely i could manage to make a full backup. I installed a new hd this morning and the system is recovering as we speak. I found some great free software for this (sorry for the commercial tip, but this can benefit everybody here): Macrium Reflect (google). It can make a full system backup and restore it on a new disk.

Is the bacup it creates compressed in any way?
Or do you need the same space to create a bacup as the original disk?

yep, the free version. I believe you can compres the backup, but i did not do that. The backup can be stored on a usb disk Mind you, for system recovery you need to download an extra file (also to be found on the website) to be able to boot from dvd without windows. The program asked me to download it when i started the backup
