Hi All
The purpose of this Thread is to discuss anything (not Lada related) here - just say hello when it suits you or when you are having a break at work - tell us what you do, whether your wife or girlfriend has just hit you with the wheel spanner, whether the dog just had a litter of puppies on your bed pillow, etc.etc.......
I have seen a thread like this at another forum on the Web before, and it works very well.
So there you go.........

Mike we're supposed to have coffee without the Lada ;D ;D ;D D'ville's temp is quite moderate - you should take your Niva (note not Lada) for a drive through the Swartland.
Anyways - the goats are out and about - now I can have some more of the good stuf. I must say things (the veld) are beginning to pick up quite nicely after the good rains.

Having a bit of a break and having a nice coffee and a jafel.
Already finished two services this morning and now have a head to quickly pull off. Had to pull one on s ford ranger 2.5td. Water changed from liquid to a nice grey paste.
I was planning to put the exhaust and gearbox back on my Niva, Dont know now anymore, its hot and the work is tireing. Anyone willing to put the box back for me? ;D

Hi All I was in a tyre fittment center today and for the first time ever I saw them using a torque wrench on the wheel nuts. You can discuss that over your coffee Ronnie

Hi Charles
That is the way it should be done. And it is better than them using an air wrench and then you sit at the side of the road trying to take the nuts off with that little "L" shaped wrench. That is when you need the cup of coffee.

Danie how much work do you have left on yours? Hi Charles The exhaust valve stems are not 100 % - the cylinder head still has to go to an engineering co, then I can start re-assembling the engine. I still have to remove some small rust spots and re paint the car as well. Danie
