I am very very disappointed that I didn't see your post on friday Danie, it would have been so awesome to catch you in Centurion... And I added my two cents worth on management structures and then ironically, my bandwidth ran out When will some announcements be made? I am willing to be a skivvie to do leg work when necessary. Please please just do not ask me to organize anything. And would it be possible to put a "chat" function into the site from proboards? Laters.

Hi Darryn
Good idea Darryn but that would limit it to 2 people and if the info could help someone else they will not be able to access it. Just send a personal message (PM)

Hi All
Darryn, you are still welcome to share any ideas regarding the Management Structure. I was hoping for more ideas regarding the future structure, and I think we should allow more time to discuss this until this upcoming Sunday - by Monday next week we can start voting ........
I suggested positions like Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, and Treasurer - but again, anyone who would like more positions - please feel free to add more suggestions.
I will contact Kobus regarding the possibility of a "chat" function.
Regards
Danie P.S. Darryn, I usually find myself in the Midstream Estates area......we could make some arrangements in future.

Hi All
Possibly we should have an Events organiser. This would suit the younger generation.
Ronnie
PS I notice on the top row of the screen we have a "new topic" next to" Home" I have never noticed this before. Was it always there?

Hi Ronnie
I also just noticed it. What does it do? Start a whole new topic for threads to be started in?
Ari
PS I just tried it and I was wrong, it gives you all the lastest threads and comments

Hi All "Events Organizer" sounds like a good idea - we do need somebody who does not stop trying easily though........ ...........in the past I got a feeling that some members of the previous Management structure started loosing interest when other members did not attend organized meetings.......... Hi Danie
Yes I agree , but as to people not arriving I think the size of our country is possibly the problem. We may need to divide meetings up according to geographical region.

Hi all I was hoping to make this particular post - a very positive one (with regard to the tyre thread). Unfortunately I have not had any feedback from Tyre Traders since my last email. Perhaps it would be an even more appropriate post if I vouch my commitment to this forum and towards the bright future for the Lada Niva in South Africa. I might be a little quite over the next couple of weeks due to the new lambing season and I'm also going to install my new OS soon which might take some time to get everything back to normal again. This is just in case somebody thinks that I left the country Regards Marius

Hi Marius
Congratulations on your new membership status, and best wishes with the lambing season !
Congrats on the quads.......... ;D..........looks like you are going to be one busy lad this season! Good feeding to the eves during this period is obviously essential - I know they gain a lot of weight during the late stage of pregnancy, and they do need good feeding after birth..........
Regards
Danie

Thanks guys!
And Danie thanks for the feeding tips - the winter has been quite harsh over here. She had a tough time over the last couple of days but she looks fine now and handled the births quite well.
A very verbal little family!
