Hi Spikes
Thanks for the reply. I presume by dry lubricant it includes something like graphite. Excuse my ignorance but do you get it in a spray? Any other dry lube you can recommend?
The frame and all the internals that I could see checks out ok - dry lubricating the channels seems like the answer.

Hi Marius Yes you do get a spray can, it is called "dry graphite lubricant" Wynns used to market it. If you can't find that use PTFE spray Charles had another product in one of his threads Regards Spikes

PS It will also remove chewing gum from carpets! Go ahead and use Q20 it is bound to be cheaper than the dry graphite and easier to obtain. My cna of Wynns DG cost R45.99 some 10 years ago, bought it for the runners of Discovery's sunroofs regards Spikes

Hi Spikes
I saw all of that on the link you provided - very interesting! I normally use Q20 for keeping my locks going and for the firearms - though many a pro shooter tends to stay away from Q20.
I will give the Q20 a shot in the channels and see how it goes. Things get real squeaky near the top.

Hi Marius
If you don't have Q20 on hand Mr Min also works great. If the door rubbers are noisy when you open and close the doors there is nothing better.

Thanks for the tip Charles! I used some Q20 in the channels and it does make a difference - the tightness is still there but it is sliding ok.

Hi Marius
Check that all your pulleys turn. My right bottom pulley didn't turn and the effect was that the cable wore (cut) through the pulley and halfway through the bolt.

Hi Ari
I just checked the rollers - all of them are turning nicely and are well lubricated. Hope you enjoy your stay.

As can be seen the "key"is sandwiched between the winder and the washer that is under slight pressure from the upholstery of the door Attachments:

The key. I find fitting it to the winder slot and then tapping the winder into place on the shaft works best for me. Attachments:

Mine has the window winder handles that gets secured with a screw, but they can also take those handles, or the ones with the metal clips.

lol
Should post the joke here, otherwise they wont understand.
Builders warehouse Scam?
PLS warn ALL your Male Friends! This can turn out very Ugly!!!??
A warning for All men who may be regular Builders Warehouse customers.
Over the last month I became the victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies has turned out to be quite traumatic! Don't be naïve enough to think it could not happen to you or your friends??!!
Here's how the scam works: Two very Hot girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the boot... They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and windolene, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirt. It is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say "No" and instead ask for a ride to KFC.
You agree and they get in the back seat. On the way, they start undressing. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and starts crawling all over you, unzips your pants and plays with you while the other one steals your wallet???!!!
I had my wallet stolen July 4th, 9th, 10th and twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, 24th & 29th. Also August 2nd, 4th, twice on the 8th, three times last Saturday and very likely again this upcoming weekend??
So pls BE Carefull!
PS: Mr Price has Wallets on sale R19,99 Each!
