Thanks Dimitris. Its more of stripping PO 's interior out Gavin. All I have put in is a new steering wheel from ladapower, new center consol from ladaworld and some toggle switches for cigarette and hella plugs in the boot and electric pump to transfer fuel from long range tank to std tank. And the inclinometer that Spikes gave me. PS Spikes. How are those rims doing? Ari Doing just fine, thanks Ari. No dents, Rustoleum still just as good as when applied Spikes

Rustoleum is fantastic. How many coats did you apply. Charles Just washed the wheels brushed rims with steel brush(hand model) and 4 coats outside 1 on inside. The original pictures are in the Nankang Thread quite early on Spikes

The inner ones are easy to climb as they are almost verticle, but the outer one is close to horisontal and its like walking across a suspension bridge. I'm about the only one who will walk across, the rest crawl. Its an aluminium ladder which means it has a nice bounce as you cross.

Was made by the guys that make land rover alu roof racks in the mid 90's for a nissan patrol. Took it and shortened it, and bent the feet out.

Temp went up to 46 degrees Sunday, if you look at the bottom of the right hand blue line. Drove to a church up in the mountains in the heat and no overheating, in fact the needle was 1mm below to 90 mark! Need to fix rust and my harness is slightly butchered and I want a RED lada, so I decided to do a full strip down, fix and respray RED.
