Hi Ronnie You were curious as to the Pitbull tyre's grip in the wet I drove home on friday after Pretoria had some good rain and could not tell the difference between wet and dry driving ;D though I wasn't going 120 only 80 (speed limits you know) Ari

Hi Ari Sorry, I haven't seen the pics earlier - started missing more and more posts due to a lack of time . The gang here at the forum almost convinced me to go for the skinny tyres - but I think I will still go for the Pitbulls. Are the Pitbulls slippery on wet tar, or did you only drive on gravel ? Danie

Hi Danie
Drove on tar all the way home and they were good.
When I had the conti trac's on I notice there is a difference in the Lada' handling between the skinny (correct offset) and wide offset wheels. The wide offset and conti trac's gave better grip and handling in dry driving , the Lada felt firmer and better planted on the road.
