Hi all
Ronnie and I would like to apologize to all our members for our terrible behaviour throughout the last couple of days. We both like to participate in the discussions, but things got way out of hand. We can only hope that you will except our apology.
Marius & Ronnie

Marius, again...thank you for accepting my apology. And I accept yours without any reservation. Again I also want to apologize to the rest of the members for my inappropriate behaviour. Marius approached me last night in private and after a back and forth today I believe we understand one another better. Marius, I thank you for your maturity in this and I am proud to have you as our Chairperson. My hope after all this is that we can move forward as LOCSA and happily look forward. I believe we will. Regards to all, Jaco

Marius And Ronnie, your apologies accepted.
LOCSA is the same as a close family, from time to time the s@#t will fly, but nobody are really cross for each other.
Again, your apologies are sincerely accepted.
Regards.

Hi All
I am sorry I could not apologize in person but unfortunately I had no Internet access due to moving house. Marius has said it all and I speak for him when I say we both have the interests of LOCSA at heart and would like to see the Forum continue to go from strength to strength. My sincere apologies again.
Ronnie

It's that time of the year when everyone gets ratty. Didn't see what happened but I hope it wasn't too bad.

Apologies accepted - but just a suggestion to Locsa Management:
Please remove this Thread from this website . We are all human, and we all do make mistakes (including myself obviously).
If there are any posts in which Management might have offended any Locsa Member, please remove that as well.
Many thanks.

Hi Ronnie, to me this thread should remain. If nothing else, at least a reminder that those concerned could iron out diffirences and move on to benefit of LOCSA and its members. Spikes

Hi all
I actually seriously considered deleting Jaco’s post but after we had a nice talk we both agreed that it would be better to just leave it as it is. Quite frankly any discussion on what should stay and what should go has the potential to start another war. ;D
The best way forward is to learn from the past and just move on. We should not try and hide our differences, but rather turn it into a positive as we go along.
We will only fool ourselves if we think that there won’t be any arguments in future but we must definitely keep our emotions in check when we do (esp the Moderators! ;D) Open discussions is in fact what keeps this forum alive and vibrant.
We are part of one big universal family yet it is good to show others that we are just human after all.

Hi all I actually seriously considered deleting Jaco’s post but after we had a nice talk we both agreed that it would be better to just leave it as it is. Marius Hi Marius My understanding of Jaco's post (above) , is actually slightly differently. Hercules (member of Locsa Management) also expressed a different opinion above - but I guess you have consulted with the other members of Locsa Management in the meanwhile, therefore I do accept your announcement. Hi Danie Joco's post was directed to me and I believe the matter was resolved through discussion by the both of us. I don't really think it was necessary for me to take the matter up with Management as it was a personal issue. I don't think I have ever expressed my "understanding" of Jaco's post in the open, but I don't think it will differ much from either of your opinions. You guys are welcome to delete this thread - but unless I miss something this thread actually shows me that we can have our differences and still make peace after some heavy duty brawling and I think that is actually quite nice that we are able to do just that This thread is about reconciliation, forgiveness and making peace - why would one want to delete it is a bit beyond me - but that is just my opinion. Hi Marius / Ronnie
The suggestion to remove this Thread has been directed to Locsa Management, (as a group) with the hope that Management should discuss this issue amongst themselves, and to remove any / all posts which might have offended any member.
While it is clear that there is no consensus within Management about this issue, I would suggest that Management do make a serious attemp to discuss this issue, and to act according to a majority desission.
I am sure all of us will accept the final desission, whatever it might be.
Regards
Danie

Eish! Hi Guys I haven't popped in for a while. I have done a bit of reading and all I can say is: Sh1t happens! It looks like the forum is calm again. I want to share with you a notice that was posted by a store man years ago: "Please don't lose your temper here because we do not have time to help you find it." . All apologies accepted. Personally I would not delete the threads, it would be like deleting parts from a history book - if someone reads the posts later some threads might not make sense. Build on the positive and while I am here I would like to wish all of you and your loved ones a blessed Festive season. For those travelling - do so safely and responsibly. Regards Kobus btw. My Opel has reached 500 000 km. The thing just would not die ...

Hi all I actually seriously considered deleting Jaco’s post but after we had a nice talk we both agreed that it would be better to just leave it as it is. Hercules (member of Locsa Management) also expressed a different opinion above - but I guess you have consulted with the other members of Locsa Management in the meanwhile, therefore I do accept your announcement. Regards Danie Hi Danie and everyone, I hope to clarify the above... I had a chat with Marius (member and moderator) in PM about the removal of my post (specific) in the "War Zone" thread. We agreed that it will stay. When I seconded Danie earlier in this post it was in regards to the deletion of this thread and the relevant posts as per his request. So, in short, I'm for either the deletion of all the posts/threads or that they should be kept in tack, as is. But I am not in favour of only specific posts being deleted. I do think either position (to-delete or not-to-delete) have valid standpoints, but I do trust our moderators will make (have made) a decision with the members' (LOCSA's) best interests at heart. Happy Lada day to all, Jaco
