Hi to all the LOCSA members
I am new to the club and forum, but have been lurking for a long time. I have been the proud owner of a 97 1.7 Niva for about 4 years now. It even goes now and again! Even so, I am a huge Lada fan and have learnt a lot from this forum to keep the old Lada on the road!

Spikes 5 is kinda warm for the North West ;D Just joking - we had some early frost in April but since then we mostly had some real good sunny weather Marius

Just another quick question Allan. You said that you had been "lurking" for some time, what prompted you to actually register and become a member? This could help Marius and the other head honchos in making other long time invisible visitors feel confident enough to also register. Regards Vincent

Hi Allen
Welcome to Niva paradise. Hope to hear alot from you and see some photos of your baby.
At least if your Pajero gets stuck you have a recovery vehicle for it.

Hi to all
Thanks for the warm welcome!
It was also around 5 degrees here in Witbank this morning but warming up nicely, but seems we will be getting cold in the last half of this week.
To Vincent, I decided to register, as I have a few issues with my Lada that I do not seem to find the answer to in any of the forums (I will raise my questions in the appropriate thread) and also being a rather reserved type of person, am hesitant to voice my opinions in front of all you Lada experts!
I will post a photo of my Lada as soon as I give it a wash and get the brakes sorted this weekend. (hopefully)

Hi Allan
It is about 19 today and dull at the coast. Ask all your questions and someone will help you with your queries.

Hi Allan
I promise you - when I started out with the Lada I knew virtually nothing about cars and I after 11 years I am still learning.
The true value of a forum such as this, is that we can all learn from each other.

Hello Allan My Lada is seldom washed (much to Ronnies disgust ) so don't fuss. As for the brakes Charles reckons you only need them if you don't have a bull bar and hooter does not work Regards Vincent
