Douw that just goes to show what a good guy you are for taking our offers like that. Charles There's more joy in giving than receiving... Besides, there's not point in hanging onto something that someone else needs more than me.

Hi Douw, On the bottom pic, it looks like a steel valve stem and cap. If that is correct, are they worthwhile fitting. Any other members, please comment as well. I am in two minds about fitting the steel valve stems as I have never lost a rubber one due to terrain abrasion. Hey spikes, that's just an aluminium valve cap that i fitted. Thanks Douw! Spikes

Mine is exactly the same as Douw's. Charles Charles and Douw's wheels look like this if you can't see the black so easy. Ari

Well, this is a quite old good trailduster. You can't find a new today. I have the same shape traildusters (4 units) but they are deeper (the offset is different).

Hi Douw A while ago I bought a spare "Chinese version" rim from a local tyre dealer - these rims are available in different widths, are quite cheap, and look as far as I can see, identical to the Trailduster rims: Danie

Hi Danie
That one has a larger offset compared to the ones that Charles and Douw have. I also have one like yours that I use for a spare.

I've replaced the gas lifts on the rear door. The ones that were on there weren't too bad, they still held the door up but not very well.
The old ones are free to a good home... ;D

Hi Douw
I'll keep an eye open for Ronnie weilding a gas lift. Thank you.
@ Spikes - If Ronnie does not hold the door open he then has to lift the heavy stuff out.

Excuse me for being under the impression you were running a business! After paying up front, I waited 3 days for a response from you. You then said that you'd be home at about 8pm on Sunday night and that you'd get back to me then! That didn't happen! I had a similar experience with you when you bought my Niva's old motor. After you had paid for it I had to call you a number of times to get you to arrange for it to be collected! I will NEVER deal with you again! Thanks Marius, problem solved.
