Hi, I am looking for the part of the transfer case where the diff lock stem comes out. I think it's the diff lock selector?? Mine is cracked and that's why it's leaking!
I need one urgently!
Regards
Juran

Hi Juran
Just some advice - I would never just replace the selector without having a proper look at the inner components , there is a huge possibility that there are more problems inside the Transfer Box !
I have no intention of scaring you, but you might be throwing your money at only a small part of the problem, by buying just a selector fork.....
Regards
Danie

Hi Danie
Thanks for the advice, Now I am going to open the whole thing and check/service everything. I have forgot, I also need the boot that fits on the part where the transfer box slides into the back gear

Hi Juran
I presume you refer to the boot cover on the shaft and not the shaft itself? If so you might be able to get it from Jan. I'm sure if you can't come right you will get it from Ventz.
The leak is probably caused by a broken O-ring on the shaft. You can probably also get it from Jan or most likely from Midas etc.

Hi Danie Now I am going to open the whole thing and check/service everything. That makes sense - you still need to trace the heat source, as well as the source of the "thumping noise" - the Transfer Box would be a good staring point....... Regards Danie
