Hi Spencer
Thanks for the price, I have e mailed them for a quote. When I fitted the tank in Ari`s I made all the brackets myself. It is very easy.

I must say - 1 aspect of a Lada I battle with is the range of the fuel tank. The last petrol car I owned before the lada was a 1973 Alfetta. The last few cars have all been diesels. I am used to being able to get at least 600 km on a tank. Planning a route around fuel stops is not fun! That diesel conversion may happen sooner rather than later..... The clutch has just packed in on the 206 ..... Hmmmm

What do you think for an extra fuel tank 60 L? You will have all together petrol for more than 1000 km.

The Rusti has to work for a living like any good communist I need the boot space for tools and spares. Ronnie was here earlier and we spoke about the larger tank. The big problem is that I can easily do 3000 - 4000 km in a month. Diesel just makes sooooo much sense for me. Rusti's engine is actually still in excellent condition which means I am reluctant to change a good engine. Eish this can be a BIG problem getting the minister of finance to agree

Hi Charles Here is a repost of the tank. I did ask them for a price but they did not come back to me. I think it was Spikes who got a price of R600. Ronnie Attachments:

I remember seeing the fuel tanks and water tanks at Makro in Strubens valley in JHB, but when I checked in the 2 Makro stores in Durban there was nothing

Perhaps their Outdoor section can order from their suppliers. I only receive MAKRO flyers through the post:(. But a branch is finally opening in Nelspruit spikes
