Hi Ari
If you have a 1.7i ( ;D) you can only use unleaded.
If you have a 1.7 carb model you can use both - I prefer unleaded.

That's a relief! I've noticed lately in my area that most fuel stations are no longer stocking LRP. So using unleaded will be OK for my motor?

I forgot to mention the older 1.6 - obviously LRP only.
I have been using unleaded for years without any problems and I couldn't tell any performance gain by using LRP.

Hi Charles
You are fine using unleaded and every body will need to get used to it as many place do not keep LRP. None available near me.

Hi All.
I use LRP as it runs better than the Unleaded. Occasionally I use V-Power or 95 octane and the Lada perform excellent. According to the manual the Lada is rated to use 95 Octane. See page 219 of the manual.
Regards.

Hi Hercules
The RON 95 spec is for the 21214 (TBI) which can only use unleaded petrol.
The minimum spec for the 21213 (Carb) is for petrol of at least RON 91.
