Hi All
I think the time has arrived to implement an "Anti Thread Hijacking Rule" at this forum.
In an attempt to make this forum more "user friendly", we have turned a blind eye to some "Thread Hijacking" in the past. I think it might be better rather to accept International standards in this regard, and discipline ourselves not to pass any comments which are not relevant to the subject of any thread in future.
While very useful information often gets discussed when a Thread has been "hijacked", it is often very difficult to trace these info afterwards - which means this forum is not "user friendly" at all !
I hearby wish to make an urgent appeal to all members - when we are making any contributions at any thread , please stick to the subject. If you do wish to discuss anything else, just start a new thread.
Please bear in mind that while I am able to move complete threads to another sections at the Forum, I am not capable of moving individual posts by members to other threads, or other sections at the Forum.
I am able to change or delete comments by members on posts though - but I prefer not do do this unless absolutely necessary.
Your co operation in this regard will be highly appreciated.
Regards
Danie

Hear hear... If one takes a thorough look at the technical section, they'll see that some topics might have been rehashed. Don't be too hasty to just start a new thread.

Him All
Guilty as charged. Sometimes a thread seams to just drift off course, will try to watch in future

Im also guilty. Strange enough some of the best advice comes from those threads that went completely off topic.
