A russian guy emailed these plans for the bracket to raise the alternator to the LHS of the engine and a lot higher. They are a bit hard to read but I hope they help someone. Attachments:

Hi Danie
It looks as if this alternator bracket does away with the mechanical petrol pump. Ventz was not happy with the quality of the electric ones, but I have used them in the past with no problems. We should try to watch the quality of what we buy and not buy purely on price.

Hi Ronnie
I agree - we all try to save costs for obvious reasons, but "snot and string" technology often cause a lot of problems.
I also believe that owners should replace parts with new ones as soon as there is any evidence of part failure. The sooner, the better.
Regards
Danie
