Has anyone sprayed their grill? I want to spray mine matt black, but im afraid that it might flake off.

Hi Ari and Charles
Not guilty this time. I would make sure it is clean and oil free, and try matt black spray as it does not appear to flake on the plastics I have used it on. My grill has also been painted but it looks like a specialized coating. Unfortunately I don`t know what it is.

Ok. I will remove mine. Give it a good cleaning and if I feel its needed give it a coat or two of matt black.

You can use also some cosmetic solutions from general spare parts shops - Bumper Black, Polish Black,...etc.

Thanks Ventz. The thing is my grill is a ugly faded grey. Would like it to be a nice black. Matt black. Or like my journeyman used to say, Appy black.
