Hi all, Greetings from New Zealand. I have a 1990 Niva 1600, with a weber swap and a 2" lift. I enjoy using it off-road, but sadly hardly get the chance these days. Some of you may guess by my user name I'm Baxter of Baxter's Temple of Niva Site, a large collection of useful info for the Niva ( www.ladaniva.co.uk/baxter ). Here's me and my beastie on the way to being possibly the southernmost Niva in the world:

Hi Mark and a very warm welcome LOCSA! The availability of the manuals on your site was a big motivator for me before I bought my Lada. Great to have you as a member regards all Spikes

Danie, we have to have another position in the management structure called "King". For this position, I vote for Baxter. Baxter, I would have proposed the title of "Honorary High Emperor for Life", but today I have my Springbok hat on, so you'll just have to deal with only having the title of "King". I'm hoping by the end of tomorrow, with a bit of luck (and say, a red card for Ritchie) we'll be able to give you the title of "Princess" Awesome to have you on board mate. Darryn.

Hi Baxter A warm welcome to the forum - we have reached several "milestones" on this side of the pond during the past year, and believe me, your presence here is yet another milestone ! As mentioned by the other members, it is a great honor to have you here as one of our members. You have probably noticed that I often use your website as reference - thanks a mil for that excellent source of information ! I have no doubt that you have spent endless hours of commitment, dedication, and hard work on that website. I know that your website actually "says it all" but please feel free to take part in our discussions - it will be great to hear from you ! Regards Danie P.S. If you do have contact with your National rugby team, please ask them to have mercy on the Boks tomorrow - the Boks have gone "all soft" recently.

Thank you greatly for all the complements, but not all the genius is mine; much of the content or research is the diligent work of others. Btw, it gets a healthy number of hits from SA, and even the odd bit of content.
