Hi Guys.
I saw a picture on FB with all the parts needed for a 50mm lift on Borris... Is there a thread on site with regards to this lift? I wish to attempt it this weekend. I would like to know how thick the spacers have to be to achieve the 50mm lift. Dimensions etc.
Tx

Hi Berto I am still awaiting for that guy from facebook to post the details here. He fabricated that kit himself, however, you can get a lift kit from the Lada World web site. I know Ari Bezuidenhout has just purchased one. Tjeers Steve

Basically, a 25mm spacer will give a 50mm lift. Regards,

Not a lot. Don't know the metric but, 1" at the back gives 1.75" lift, not quite 2" but barely noticeable. So, metric wise, 27 or 28mm at the back should do the same as 25mm at the front. Regards,

Ari have you fitted this kit yet? Is it a lot lower than the 50mm kit?

Hi guys. I lifted mine the previus weekend with a whole heap of help from Ruan. Had to role out a bit on the rear fenders and cut out a little on the front. It now runs on 215/80 R15 velocity AT's.

Same shocks Ruan had on the niva. No clue if they're std or not. Tested it a little off road and evreything works really well!
