Hi Lada Nation I'm really interested in buying a lada sidekick 2002 model that has the silver plastic bumper that i dont like. my question is: if i remove the front plastic bumper is there a classic bumper underneath it or i have to buy one and install it? Thank you all

Hi Sladi
Welcome to the forum. You would need to fabricate a bumper or try find a second hand one.

Hi
Charles in Jeffreys Bay fabricated his own bumper, I am sure he will reply later on today.

Behind the plastic bumper is a small piece left from the factory bumper. Destroyed radiator grille as well. Removing the front bumper you need to remove all remaining body kit, or it will be very ugly. You will need front and rear original bumpers. It is necessary to fix the rivet's holes all over the body also.
So, don't buy a Sidekick, buy a standard Niva.
