Hello Everyone,
Not really a issue but more of a possible hazard. I presume all the standard petrol caps are just screw on's. Has anyone changed the cap with one that has a key? I am kind of worried about the fact that the cap has no locking feature and it makes it easy for someone to "borrow" the petrol.
Charl.

Hi Charl
Hercules fitted the filler pipe and locking cap from a ford Granada. I fitted a lock to the petrol flap. Both methods will satisfy your needs.

I think ronnies suggestion is the best, just fit a lock to the fuel flap.
I bought a locking cap when i first got my car, as at that time the petrol cap had no gasket and leaked everywhere. The new cap lasted less than a month before it disintegrated.

For those with leaking caps >> Darryn once gave me the tip to fit a suitable O-ring and it works perfectly.
