Hi everyone, I am trying to find a Fuel Pressure Regulator for a 1.7i TBI but cannot even find a part number from the parts list. Is a kind soul (Ari I hope you read this!) out there who might have one for sale or at least a part number?
I think my stuttering Lada is not a fuel starvation but rather a flooding problem. My diagnosis is based on the fact that I have replaced the Fuel Filter, Fuel Pump, checked the Fuel Lines, checked the vacuum lines, replaced the Cam Drive System, adjusted the Valve Timing and reset the ECU.
After all that the Lada ran smoothly for a day or so and then the stuttering started again.

Hi Darrel
Part 3 of the manual tells you how to check the pressure and gives the pressure specs. I don`t think Ari will have as his Niva has a carb.

Hi Darrel,
Have you tried Mike the 4X4 doctor in Durbanville? +27 84 337 4919 or otherwise get hold of Spencer Cash of the Lada NIVA Facebook page. He had fueling problems with his TBI as well and sorted it out with local spares. He does not visit this forum very often but you can leave get to him on FB

Hi Guys, I found the Part Number for a GM Fuel Pressure Regulator; DE000101 known as a "Body ASM Fuel Meter" as used on an Opel Astra. This is good news but the bad news is that they have to import it which takes 3 months! I also found the Lada Part Number; 21214-1183049 Can anyone help with this part number?

Hi Darrel
Have you tried GM dealers? It is almost certain that you won't find the item from forum members. In total only some 370 TBI models were imported.
Ventz may have the item
Have you tried stripping the unit. The spring and cup may be rusted/sticky

Did you try Pavel at Ladapower.com? I know he is away for another 2 weeks but it will likely be a lot cheaper

Just some more feedback, don't only check the MAP sensor vacuum line, check all of them! My Lada's stuttering is a thing of the past!
