hello
As we get to know each other you will quickly learn that im man enough to to admit when dont know something>
so heres the thing i bought a Lada but dunno which one i have LOL
how would i find that out says nothing on the natis papers or on the car itself

hi again whats the theory around lifting a lada and is it doable and what would a kit cost ? where would i get one

What do you mean which one, there are only about 3 to choose from , 1600L horizontal tail lights like a citi golf, 1700L carb vertical tail lights and then the 1700L TBI.

Hi Glenn,
Instead of opening lots of threads make one with your lada's name and put everything in there, or search for the relevant thread please. It makes it easier to serch for information later.

Open a thread for "The Bos Parra" with pictures in the Members Photo Gallery and take it from there. "Ari's Lada NIVA " is a good expample

there is my little gem had her a week now put on big ass tyres and needed to trim wheel arches to prevent rubbing! will add pics as i go through the restoration process

Ari my tyres are 215/80/15 rubbs a bit still at the back when she gets out of shape off road before the colour change im gonna modify the rear wheel arches as well.............. where do i get the plastic wheel arch covers ?

you can try www.proautorubber.co.za. They keep generic rubbers and might have one that works. Im not sure about the offset of the sidekick rims, but with 215 tyres on the standard steel wheels, the rears rubbed against the springs off-road. They didn't touch the wheel arches though
