Well Paul from Fish Hoek popped round on sat morning to collect a spare hub and front disk assembley that I sold him. Well beers in hand around 10h30 am he began stripping the parts as we all stood bye keeping a watchfull eye on him glugging down cold ones as he battled a hangover away from the previous night. All in all it was good and lots was said and discussed. Hope you came right Paul in fitting it back, will give a ring in the week. Nice to meet up with you, i am sure we will be getting together again soon for some fun in the sun and in the dirt.

Hey Mike. Thanks again so much for the part, the "new" hub slotted on perfectly, as if it was always on... had no probs repacking the bearings and regreasing. Struggled for two days tho with 1 flippin brake bleeding nut, (stripped) eventually had to use easy outs (which wasn't that easy) to get it out. thank goodness I had some spare!!
Will bring my baby around some time hopefully within the next week or two! I'll bring the kids next time!!
Shot again for the parts, the experience and all the pics!! Chat soon Paul P.S How good were the bulls!!!

Hi all. Once again Mike came to my rescue!! I had been battling for three weeks with one bleed nipple and eventually had to condede to getting a replacement part!
Eventhough Mike was as sick as a dog, he still made time and effort to help me out, with a brake calliper!
Thanks Mike your a STAR!!!.. just to let ya know she is on the road and running like a dream!!
Des also popped around on Sunday with his sidekick... It is in awesome condition and I was quite jealous, we are all keen to do some 4x4 excursions, it just boils down to how much cash we have to splash!!
Thanks Lada lovers for keeping it real.... Paul

Hi Paul.
Your Lada looks good and happy it is on the road again. Enjoy the ride.
I noticed that your left front hub grease cap is not fitted and can cause serious damage to the bearings if travel a lot without it.
Regards.
Hercules.
