Almost flipped my niva around a corner today as i thought it would understeer like my other niva. Also it has softer springs can this be?

Thats strange. At high speed on loose gravel my niva likes to get the tail out and on some of the harder stuff it will pick the inside front wheel up.

This was on tar road. Dirt it understeers like mad. My injection niva is great. It likes to understeer slightly at high speed on tar road and has a nice 4wheel slide on dirt.

I also get under steer on tar. 4wd likes to do that. Do you still have the stabiliser bar fitted?

Have u ever locked the tc and then did a high speed corner on dirt/gravel/mud road? It works wonders.

Yes it is windgat. I am shure it was not made to do power slides. Then it would have had POWER. I wil drive it like the tractor it is.

Just strange that two 01 nivas do not drive the same. One soft and one hard. Must be owners before me that did something to it.

Ruan
That is the joy of a Niva, I have now driven Sharkie, Whitey, Vladimir and Toadi, none of them drive the same.

its not that they don't drive the same, I prefer to think that all Niva's are individuals with their own personalities
