Hi Guys Just did my first service this weekend, I must I am quite impressed at how straight forward everthing on the Niva was especially for a novice like me. Does anyone know of a place where I could have the Niva Dyno Tested, If possible some place in the Southern Suburbs or close to the city. The reason I want to Dyno tune is to get the best possible fuel comsumption. One last thing does anyone know where I could get good filler syringe to fill the axle's, steering box etc, I have attached a pic. Thanks Wayne Attachments:

Hi Wayne
What I do, is use a 1.2 metre piece of hosepipe to fill the GB, TC and front Diff. I simply put one end of the pipe into whichever I need to fill and thread the other end up through the engine compartment and fill it from the top, much easier. Not sure about the steering box though.
I use different hosepipes for the different types of oil and ensure that they are not used for anything else and are kept clean with the ends sealed when not in use.
Tjeers

Hi Wayne
It also help if you stand the can(s) of gear oil in very hot water for about 10 min before pouring in

Do not have the car dyno tuned. You will just be wasting money. Make sure your ignition timing is set correctly and that the co is set properly with the help of a co tester.

That niva in the pic is missing grease nipples on the tie rod ends. The holes are there but no nipples or bolts to be seen.

Hi Wayne
You should be able to get one in any good spares shop. The one I used to use in Scotburgh had them in stock.
