My name is Dominic, I'm from hillcrest Kzn been in love with lada's since I was 17. I'm so excited to be apart of this forum. I've currently got an extremely modified niva that is not for the road I'm currently looking for another niva for daily use and long trips. I'm hoping to meet many fantastic like minded people on here!

I will most defenitly post pictures of my build as I'm sure you're aware it's a never ending project, I'm currently in the process of doing a live axle swap both front and back but I'll do a full project post of that in the next month or two ;D

Hi Dominic and welcome to the wackey world of Ladas. CERATOTH is not modified as I'm not clever enough to put right that which I shouldn't have messed with in the first place.....unless you think that the fitting of a roof rack is a modification :-) Regards to all at LOCSA, Keith and CERATOTH

I will post pictures I just want to take some good photo's for you guys! I agree with the whole non modified thing it is just difficult if you're a natural tinckera like I am, the thought of my little lada tackling the most extreme obsticals excites me! My plan is to swap the axles with the Dana's from a jeep or just change the front to the independent steel front diff but I'm currently looking for another niva for daily use and holiday fishing trips which I would like to keep as original as possible except for the solex carb which I will exchange for the webber carb (plastic floats are a must or offroading!) I don't consider a roof rack as being totally original Keith but defenitly a necessity for long trips Thank you all for your warm welcomes!

No I know the original solex has plastic floats, I ment on the webber replacement I've found it imperative to have the plastic floats through trial and error.

The weber carbs just stall on steep hills.
