so most of my lada's issues have been sorted, only thing left is the brakes, have the fuel consumption down to around 10km/l, aligned the transfer case using the mirror method, new shocks in the back and built a roof rack (which is going for epoxy coating sometime this week, gotta say it's turning into 1 sweet ride, gonna start on the new paint job shortly ;D Attachments:

Very nice indeed.Have you mounted your roof rack to standard roof bars? Cheers Gav Hi, I used the mounting brackets from a set of racks that i had lying around, didn't want to have too much clearance between the roof and the rack, cost me a grand total of R 700-00 including the epoxy coating, will put up a drawing if anyone's interested and it only weighs 22kg

Very nice Sparky. What was the cause of your fuel consumption issues. Charles turned out that the original carb was not in the best condition, dumped it and fitted a weber 32/32 jetted according to sizes obtained on the forum

Hi Sparky, 'she' looks really nice. I love that green colour.....much better than CERATOTH's boring white......but I mustn't say that too loud as 'she' is parked right outside :-) Regards, Keith and CERATOTH
