Hi Ronnie & Christo
The 1.7i has coil packs thus, no rotor.
Christo, I can email you the TBI fault charts if you do not have them

HI Christo.
Sorry I was out playing paintball today.
We have experienced cutting out issues, but that was all fuel related. Dirty fuel filter, clogged filter sock on the pump or something like that.
As far as cutting out when its hot, I can think that a coil pack could do something silly like that. Or a seal under the throttle body that starts softening when it gets warm. Or, a fuel injector that is clogged.
Also, make sure you have the right throttle position sensor. The VW one reads in the wrong direction. That was initially my problem. Replaced 4 of the 5 sensors in the engine bay when we figured that out.
I posted the number for Jorge Auto in the section about lada mechanics. Give them a call, they are really helpful.
I will check in daily if you can post updates. or call me at o72 861 3395.
Regards
