Hey Kids- Hennops is in the Magaliesburg on the western edge of Gauteng. It costs R180 to get in the gate and the trail is graded as 3. This is not to be confused with Hennops Pride offroad trail 2km down the road which is graded as 5. the URL to go to the map to get there is www.hennops.co.za/contactus/map.aspx. My dad and I did the trail alone in December and managed to do it despite not having much offroad experience, or an electric fan fitted to the radiator. I would recommend having a fan fitted before you come because it gets very hot in those hills. Laters.

Even before we get going to Hennops, we should start planning a long weekend to the Drakensburg in either April or May. This will enable at least Chairman Maorius, Ronnie and even Charlie and Danie to join us. Nothing THAT hectic, just a long weekend where we pull up at a campsite, go do some trout fishing (well, some of us at least- not me) and do one or two off road trails. It is very central, cheap(ish) and the right time of year.
What say you?

Hi Darryn
Don`t expect me to attend as it would depend on finances. If I have to have a chance of going in 2012 I have got to save money. We live now on what used to be my monthly pocket money.

Guys- should I put separate event threads up for the different regions? It should make discussions about different regions more visible from the homepage.

Hi Darryn
I think it would be best to have seperate threads for each region. Much easier for you and Ari to control.

Yip I agree with that. We can maybe keep this one for national events and start new ones for each region.
