Hi Gents
My seat is completely broken and need to be replaced. Wat will fit the best or do any one have a extra seat for sale.
Thanks Dewald

Hyundai accent seats fit the easiest. Other guys just make brackets and fittings to fit another seat...

I need to replace my LADA front seats sometime. Does the Hyundai seats work as is or is there modifications needed to fit them? This is an old thread - any new info available?
Thanx Zet

The accent seat will work, so does the corsa, but both need modifications in terms of the runners. Have a chat to Peter, he recently fitted corsa seats. I will bbm him to post some info on it

Hi Zet. Corsa seats works fine. The only mod you will need to do is: The Corsa seats runners and mounting points are narrower than the mounting points of the Lada, if I recall correctly, it's about 2cm out on both sides if you dead center the seat. If you are a good welder, you should be able to to fit them nicely without to much issues. And you need to lift them as well. The Corsa seats are a bit low. So if you are tall like me, bonus on the head room, but otherwise, you will need to lift them.

Narrower may be the wrong word. They are not as far apart as the Lada's mounting point.

Yup, I fitted 2011 corsa bakkie seats to 3M recently - wasn't difficult but I installed 2 pieces of 60 x 6 mm flat bar, then mounted the seats to that. No welding and I can revert to standard if I want to

I changed to BMX 3 E36 (i dont know if for you easy available, here very easy to get very cheap) Very comfortable and fitting nearly perfekt. They also have hight- adjustment, so very good for Niva. No back ake at all I tested six times with 600km highway and four times with 1200km nonstop. Here many pics and german text... please ask if there are questions about it. linkgreets jakob
