I am busy putting all the messages from the old message board on the web site. Please visit locsa.atspace.com/index.htm and click on the link provided. There are 211 messages. It will take a couple of days to get everything posted. Please visit regularly.

Goeie idee Kobus. Daar is inligting op die ou Message Board wat dalk nuttig gebruik kan word.

Hi Ari
The first link was (and still is) the official Home page of the LOCSA website. Some of the details - like contact details, are completely dated, and still need to be updated.
The second link on your post is the "LadaRsa Message Board" and as far as I am concerned, part of the reason why the "old" Locsa started falling apart.
The previous Locsa Management started the Message Board because they thought it would improve communication between Members - all members received an immediate e.mail once a post had been made. Unfortunately the previous Management never discussed the Message Board with Kobus, the official Webmaster of Locsa at that time, and they appointed another (formal) Lada owner - Ian Ferreira, to run the LadaRsa Message Board.
The result was that some Lada owners registered as members of Locsa, and other owners registered as members of the LadaRsa Message Group. Unfortunately the members of both groups often did not know about the existence of each other.
About three years ago the Locsa Management approached me to "run" the Locsa website, while they would "run" the LadaRsa Message Group. I did not except this offer because in my opinion, two different "Lada Websites" in South Africa would not make sense.
As far as I know Ian Ferreira sold his Lada, and is not involved in Lada circles any longer .The old Locsa Management has drifted apart , and if it was not for Kubus, this Website would have been stone dead today.
Regards
Danie

Hi Danie Thanks for that. For some reason it seems as though the first link isn't active, as I cant open that website, it says connection error, and I've tried for a few days now. Ari

I will have to get hold of Kobus then - I can't explain what's going on, and I do find this very strange : I do visit the "Home Page" every day, and never have problems. In fact, I do visit that page every time before I visit the Forum ! Regards Danie
