Hi Ratel, Look at the Niva in envy? I think they though "what a sexy little number!" . I came to the conclusion a Niva looks great in any colour! One of these days my Niva will be dressed in a camouflage wrap (probably including the standard Niva steel wheels). I can not wait to see it; dressed to kill! Regards, Fanus

Wow, that's amazing to know that this Lada will be around - that it to be only a KZN visitor. He was driving fast : Spotted him just in time for the pic. "Office Dressed" Gentleman in a Lada, maybe on his way to work - Good to know. Thanks Mike for keeping the Ladas running.
Regards Steve

Hi Butasteve, Wet roads are food for a Niva! You can throw mud on the highway and the Niva will still be happy, although he will not do 110 km/hour! For you with your normal car it will look as if the Niva is passing at 100 km/hour. Vincent, The green Niva is "uber cool" and really look the part on construction sites. A Niva was build from the outset to work with in places like army terrains and places like construction sites, every day, from there the permanent four wheel drive and the ability to change ranges while on the move and inside the cab. One of our guys came back from Russia and his first remark when they asked him how it was on (construction) site was: "Fo%$# it is cold there, minus 26 degrees Celsius". Just imagine visiting a front end loader under those conditions! The fact is Nivas are used for that in Russia every day! So, enjoy your Niva in sunny SA - it is a walk in the park for the Niva. Regards, Fanus

Good morning Been shopping, when I met Faffa (Francois) with his Lada at the same shop. We chat for a while. He'd been to the Cederberge with his Lada, which he now owns for four (4) years. We now have seven (7) Ladas that he knows about in Paarl. Pleasing to know that there's more Lada in Paarl which are still in use. Regards Steve

Good day All The Alternate Route to Doolhof, Wellington from Bainskloof. Not recommended as a Return Route after a lenghty visit though, except if you had a midday power nap after lunch. www.wellington.co.za/Kind regards Steve Attachments:

Hi Bustasteve,
Your Niva is very neat. Is the colour a standard Niva white?
