i ordered a front wing from Pavel, took approx 15 days to Australia.
the tracking is a little vague especially from the Ukraine side, have you tried tracking it from the Belgium side ?

Jan I think Danie had a similar problem where Pavel helped to trace it from the Ukrainian side - I think?

Marius, try the link I supplied above. It will trace a parcel until it leaves our Customs. Once in Telkom's clutches it may disappear of the radar(hopefully only figuratively speaking)

Thanks Spikes - Pavel provided the link to me when my parcel was in the mail. For now it only indicates that the parcel was registered by the Ukrainian mailing service. I expect things to move along during the coarse of next week.

So when wil we have a local parts dealer that is not going to charge our socks off? I realy dont mind paying a bit more but lada parts in sa is just too expensive. R480 for a cheap looking head gasket and R350 for a valve from jan.

Emigrate to where? This is a bad thing! But maybe good for him. Some days driving in pta with the new street names i just want to start a war. Just think about it. If some one imports parts add 30% every ong will buy from him.

I wanted to service Katya last week, before I went away for the weekend.Autozone had everything I needed except the airfilter in stock. They told me they could order one but it would take 3-5 days to arrive. As I wanted it sooner than that, I thought I would try Chris Swales. Much to my surprise they were R30 cheaper than autozone!
Just goes to show it pays to shop around.

There is a very smart guy in Hungary. He send to all over the world. Not the cheapest but alltime good quality. He speaks Hungarian, English and German... best contact via email: Address removed as per arrangement with the supplier. He is listed in our Supplier list. Instructions for getting his email address can be found here: locsa.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sparep&action=display&thread=652For example, i needed longer bolts for rear disc brake. He did it for fair price in good time. Parts with big need for safety i almost order from him. He also imports old original parts and new stuff from Russia. Old 4.44 diffs. for example. greets Jakob

Hi Jakob No way you could have known that Old history. Yes I also found it strange that a supplier does not want his e-mail address displayed for support. The arrangement was put in place in 2009. One of the members brought my attention to it... so yes it is removed regards Spikes
