Hi Folks Just a few words about much appreciated humor every now and then at the Forum. The Internet can be a very cruel communication medium, and comments at any given post at any given time can easily be misread by other members or visitors. From my side - many thanks to members who often add some much appreciated humor to their posts. Although I am fully aware of the fact that I often project an image of a "suurgat" (asshole in English I think) - believe me, I do have a very "healthy" (weird???) sense of humor, and I always like looking at "the bright side" of everything. So if I ever mentioned anything in the past which you did not like - please do not take my comments too serious - I was most probably just "pulling your leg" - with a smile on my face ............... Sorry about this ...........I guess old dogs always find it hard to get rid of bad habits, and to learn new tricks ....... Regards Danie

Danie it seems you have the same problem as myself. We say things as a joke and then people take it serious and get mad. I enjoy your jokes. Always very funny.

Well Danie that is just it - if you drive a Lada you got to have a sense of humour it comes with the territory. Most conversations - even when it gets a bit serious - normally ends with a smile.
I don't think you can be a "suurgat" even if you want to ;D

Well you see, Norm, its like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the whole herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain faster and more efficient machine. And that Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers!

So that is what Steve is doing, killing the weakest one beer at a time...
