A small request:- If you have to refer someone to an advertisement link on the LOCSA web site, please do not post a direct link to that ad in the forum but refer the person to locsa.atspace.com and mention the page e.g. News, etc. The reason for that is that these ads has embedded code. The reason for the ads is for me to try and generate a small income to try and compensate for internet costs and time put towards the upkeep of the web site. So far I have managed to make the grand amount of R347.00 over the past 6 years. That is roughly R4.82 per month. Thanks for understanding. Kobus

Marius I must make a point of setting up stats counters for the web site as well as the forum.
The Opel is still going strong. Replaced the brake master cylinder and a rear wheel bearings the past weekend.
How well does the Lada handle potholes? Or would a Unimog be a better choice.

Hi Kobus
Due to the short wheelbase badly corugated roads can be a bit of a mission but other than that the Lada can handle any road condition in Africa in it's stride. Unimog's are great! I do like the Pinzgauer too!

Most careers that require the usage of a Mog usually means that you'll be shot at on the job.

Come on Guys - if I understand this post correctly, it means that if each one of us visit the next two websites dayly - Kobus will get some compensation for his loyalty to our Lada community during the past six years: locsa.atspace.com/www.safarinow.com/Regards Danie

I wish it was! And you made the same mistake again by posting a direct link to SafariNow. A person must click on one of the ads and make a reservation or buy a product. The only two links that you can promote are locsa.atspace.com and locsa.proboards.comThe advertisements have a bunch of code and a reference number. If you right-click and copy the link the code gets lost and will not get the credit if someone buys a product. I trust that I made this understandable. Thanks Kobus

Hi Kobus Sorry, I'm a bit "slow" in understanding these things . Does it mean that you will still get credit if we visit the locsa.atspace.com/ website , and then click on the "Forum" button (which is the second link you have referred to) Again, sorry about the stupid questions . Danie

Hi Kobus
If I am reading this correct and we must buy or make a reservation in response to an advert can I suggest the adverts(if possible) could be 4x4 / off road related. This I am sure would generate more "sales" for you.

Danie/Marius Hi Danie No, Clicking on the Forum link will only take you to the forum. Nothing else. If you look at the web site ( locsa.atspace.com) you will see just below the LOCSA badge on the left, there is a banner. The one on the Home page is SafariNow. If someone clicks on that SafariNow banner and make a booking, I will get a small commission from that. The same goes for the banners on the other pages. If you look at the top and bottom of the forum, you will see 2 Garmin banners. Those are mine. The others that you see belongs to the forum and I get no benefit from that. If you still don't understand, please ask. I have a lot of patience.
