Hi Charles
I think if you prepare a car properly and have to do some cutting out of rusty pieces the price would be at least R10000. Anything below this you would need to cut corners.

I think that the quote I got from a local bloke is a bargain then at R5000. This includes cutting out the rust and welding new metal in :-) I think that I will see if the budget stretches to Rust Bullet as a paint

Pretty cool! Even Cooler This is the Niva of the boating world. It is a surf launch CAT that is only 3.75m long and runs off a single 15 hp motor. The one in a picture has a 40hp Yamaha - This is about a sensible as putting a Lexus V8 in a Lada Regards Vincent PS Note the Licenced Niva - Yep the Rusti is Legal Attachments:

Vincent a couple of years ago a friend of mine bought a ski boat with a 40hp motor on it. Not enough power for him. He fitted a 100hp Yamaha. That thing was a monster.

Hi Vincent, you got to get rid of Rusty's rust around the windscreen, because, if not done in time, the rust will crack the windscreen.

Thank you - It was a good day to put the licence disc on.
I will in the week legally mount the plates.
@ fangsingh - The Rust will go in due course.

Hi Fangsingh, I first have to fill in the gaping holes that are carefully obscured by cunning application of duct tape. The duct tape also reduces the water entering the cabin when it rains Once I have the holes patched, then I can move onto the Kill Rust phase. Regards Vincent

Aah, duct tape. Very cunning indeed.
On my old Mazda 323 I used that membrane and paint muti to patch up all the holes. My feet used to get really wet in the rain.
