Hi 86lada Welcome to Locsa
No Straight Swop for Seats. One of the guys in Paarl used Diahutsu Seats. Can't remember the Model

Your best bet would be to buy some mags that come from the sidekick model.
The consensus is that although suzuki and kia rims fit they are the wrong offset and longterm can damage things like your wheel bearings and more importantly your steering box. Because lada no longer makes right hand drive steering boxes its not worth the risk of damaging them.

I am getting adapter plates made for a different pcd. Now what I need to know is what is the outside diameter for both the rear and front wheel hubs. In order to get the plates cut. I can't measure mine as I am at work.

Hi Conrad I see you say that the wrong offset can damage the steering box. Is this still the same if I have got a power steering. SJ

I don't know how strong the cressida boxes are. They may handle the load better than the lada box.
It's basically a case that the wrong offset wheels make the steering heavier and so put extra strain on the steering components

Back to seats. Got 'sports seats' from Midas which work well. All you have to do is fit square tube across the Lada seat points and bolt the sports seats runners to them. Just make certain that you get the seats which can fold forward. Not much more expensive but then you can get into the back seat without having to be a gymnast. Welcome to the Forum.
