Hi Danie I was waiting to see how long it would take you guys to notice. Ok here goes, 1: Upload your desired avatar picture to photobucket (instuctions for this are here locsa.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=39 ) 2: Place the cursor over the picture you want (in photobucket) and a block will appear below said picture, left click in the little white box to the left of the picture's name. A green tick must appear. 3: Now go to the bottom of the page and left click on the button " Generate HTML and IMG code". 4: It will open a new page. There will be blocks of writing with headings above. Look through the headings for,"IMG images for message boards " 5: Left click on the writing in this block and the background will go gray. Now right click on the highlighted writing and choose "copy". 6: Now go to LOCSA 's page and near the top left click on "Profile". Now left click on "modify profile. 7: Left click in a box that says" Avatar URL: " . Now right click in this box and choose "paste". 8: Delete the IMG letters and the brackets at the front and back of the line you pasted. I should look like http/______________jpg 9: Save changes at the bottom. Ari PS you may need to reenter your password near the top before step 7 PS2 Steps 7 to 9 have changed

Hi
It took me quite a while to figure this out and this is how I did it. Ronnie just selected one of the default avatars that are already on the website, I think Des also has one on his profile.

Hi Marius
Sure it's a pleasure.
I wonder why Mike is so quiet as I occasionally see his name and therefore know he is online, but he never comments anymore?

Hi Ari The problem with our members is after they register you never hear from them again. We do not even know if they have a Lada. Also I never see that they have been on line. Regards Ronnie

Hi I still fail to paste my cartoon Avatar (from elsewhere) to my profile. It's not a Jpeg file, and I do not know if it matters........ Regards Danie P.S. I can't use a pic of myself........ I think I will get kicked out if I walk in for spares......

Hi Danie
Copy/paste onto your desktop then upload to photobucket.
Give the file a jpeg extension (xxx.jpeg)
A gif extension should also work. Hope it helps

Hi Danie
It should not matter as long as it is stored online somewhere and not only on your computer, it needs a web address for the picture.

Hi Danie
Go to the web page where the picture you want is.
Right click on the image and choose "copy image location".
Then go and right click in your locsa profile and and choose paste.
