A very extensive selection of online Niva parts etc in Germany that could be another alternative supplier? Shipping is quite expensive through DHL though but I am sure there could be other cheaper possibilities? www.russian4x4.de/home/129101691/Marius

Email correspondence from them indicate that they can supply right hand drive steering boxes. Wish Jakob could follow up on that for us.......
Shipping cost can be curtailed if we order in bulk as what is in the pipeline with the chain tensioners.

I have used them a number of times, and shipping is quite expensive, even to Spain. The thing to watch is returns: the cost of mailing back v order cost. They have supplied me with 4 front ball joints (non OEM), which do not fit, and which they will not accept as incorrect, and a rear brake hose which was incorrect, even though I sent a picture of the old one.
To be fair they said they would credit the cost of returned parts against a new order, but said nothing about postage refund. I managed to get another hose from an alternative supplier but haven't bothered to return either the hose or the ball joints, the latter being heavy.
Other parts have been supplied ok and are of high quality. Pays your money and takes your chance, as they say. paulg

Thanks for sharing Paul this is good to know. It now puts a big question mark on their RHD steering box for me. Postage to South Africa is also very expensive.

I got answer from russian4x4. At moment they dont have any right steering boxes. But it is maybe possible to get. They will ask all producer and tell me. I also asked my friend Romi in Ukraine, he can not get. Even used he dont get, new not possible.
Did you stay in contact with lada.co.uk? Maybe they have a source.
