You're welcome Steve, front order more important as air in pipes tend to accumulate at the highest point of a system. Spikes On that note, I was wondering on how the caliper functions on the inside, You have two lines feeding each caliper and the caliper has three piston-actuators if I looked correctly, Do both lines feed all the pistons or are they divided? (can brake fluid from the one line flow into the other line?)

One line feeds 1 piston which is the first to be activated when pressing the pedal then the harder you press the second springs into action driving the last 2 pistons for increased pressure. Unfortunatley I don't know which is which

www.dropbox.com/s/m7eogpzjhi1w4ml/NIVA%20brakes.pdfThe link should give you an exploded diagram of the brake line setup Two front pistons per side work on a totally separate fluid line from the master cylinder. The other two are interconnected with the rear brakes and the pressure equalizer at the back. As far as I know the pressure is equal in the two sets of lines BUT regulated at the rear for the rear brakes only. The separate line in front, for the two sets of pistons per wheel will still work if the other brake line is blanked off at the three way connector.

More proof that NIVA's are re all connected. And infect each other with their afflictions More information will really be appreciated as the underlying reason for the break was not determined. Spikes
