Hi All
Maybe we should check with Kobus before we reach the final decision as to whether the web address is permanent or could possibly change in the future.

should have LADA in the big letters through the middle.......
peeps know what LADA is,but no idea of LOCSA,may not attract as much attention.

Hi Andy
It would be a simple matter to switch LOCSA and Lada owners club etc, then lada would be big. When I think about it I tend to agree with you.

Hi Andy - thanks for the input I think the point here is to actually propagate LOCSA and not Lada as such. There is enough pointers on the sticker to suggest "Lada" and by way of the sample photo the word "Lada" allready features on the rear of the Niva. Maybe I'm a little baist here but I think LOCSA is just fine - as it's all about Lada Owners Club of South Africa. But hey that is just my opinion Regards Marius Attachments:

Hi Marius looking at that picture it might need to be a little bigger to be readable on the roads? But it looks good never the less. Ari

Hi Ari No it's just a sample (photoshop) I just copied and pasted - so definitely not the right size though I personally wouldn't like it to be too big. >>PS why did you block your plates, scared?<<

Hi Ari,
The poor farmers cannot afford to licence their vehicles so no number plates.

Hi Guys Along with the sticker, how would you all feel if we print up some card sized flyers that each of us can carry in our Ladas. When we see another Lada, we can stop and invite the owner to join by placing the flyer on the windscreen? See possible sample, with your permission, Danie? Attachments:

Hi All Thanks to Marius and everyone for all inputs in this regard.
I must admit, my first choice would be the first sample, with colors of the National flag. I also agree with Marius - the Locsa name should be more visible than "Lada". To my mind the Lada image (pic) is very visible, and anyone should be able to sense that the sticker is Lada related - without reading anything.
I will send Kobus an e.mail regarding the name "Locsa", and I agree with Marius - the name of an "Owners Club" should rather be propagated.
Des has got an excellent idea - perhaps we can also think about license disc holders with all contact details - instead of card size flyers.
Marius, could you please let us know about costs involved, and whether you will be able to print these stickers yourself ?
I think we can still discuss this issue until we get an answer from Kobus. I will then set up a poll, to make a final decision.
Again, thanks for all inputs in this regard.
Regards
Danie

Hi All Lots of good idea`s out there. Hopefully with a bit of advertising we can increase the active base in the club, as a lot of members join and that is the last you hear from them. Regards Ronnie

Hi Danie
Hope you had a nice trip.
I think the best way to go is for each one to approach a signage company - they usually do vinyl stickers etc and will last much longer than anything I can print.
I will post high res jpegs and also PDF formats once a decision has been made.

Marius

Hi All.
I agree with Ari, I also think each must print their own stickers. The licence Disc holder is a stunning idea. Marius have a look and see if you can make a stiker for the permanent licence holder also because some of the members might use permanent holders like myself. Again, thanks for your effort and time in this regard.
Regards.
Hercules.

Hi
If we all print a few extra stickers we can then give them to other lada's we come across, kind of like using the sticker as a flyer.

I did mention somewhere in a previous thread/post that I made a disk for my permanent license holder - this features the Lada logo but I can easily modify it with LOCSA in somewhere.
OR I can also easily modify the current sticker to fit.
You don't have to make a sticker - you can just print it on good quality photo paper. I'll post something tomorrow.

I agree with Ari / Hercules - I will get extra stickers, as well as license disc holders (stickers).
There are many signage companies around.....

Hi All
If Kobus gives us a "thumbs up" regarding the Locsa name, today will be the last day to discuss this issue.
I am preparing myself to set up a poll in order to make a final decision.
Please send me a PM about any question you wish to appear on the poll.
Regards
Danie
