Hi Moderators,
I hope you have a great day!
How do one attach a document or e-mail message to a private mail message? There is a small button just above the smilies, but if I select it it only type the word "e-mail", mooi man!!, in the message block where I am now typing. When I select "paste" it only paste a few words - everything except the e-mail message itself.
Your help will be much appreciated.

Hi Fanus I can only suggest that you copy and paste the contents of the document or the email into the message box. Other than that I don't know Marius

Rather send the member an email to which you can add an attachment. The buttons above the smilies are tags. Regards Kobus

Hi all Sometime late last week there were several posts about the website not loading. As the local ADSL control box had gone AWOL and I had to use a 3G dongle with a poor signal, I was not to concerned. But the ADSL is back and the webpage is still bombing out. Both in IE 9 and Chrome Anyone else still having the problem? regards Spikes @ Kobus. Please see attachment Attachments:

Spikes I still have a problem (less frequently) that a LOCSA web page does not open completely. I normally close the page and re-open a new window. That is about the only way I can sort the page.
I have this issue on the LOCA forum only. I use Firefox so it's not a browser issue. Something is up with the server.

Hi Marius The message Chrome throws at me is that 1) "the Server sent no data" 20 "bad message that the server could not read" or something to that effect But yes closing the webpage usually solves it for a while

Spikes / Marius
I'm also experiencing ongoing problems - more frequently than when it was raised about a week ago.
Sometimes I get the same message as Spikes, sometimes part of the page is 'greyed out' when it is loaded and on other occasions the most recent response/responses are not shown.

Hi Spikes/Nikki
I will report this issue to Kobus again - hopefully he can sort it for us. I only get that the page does not want to open properly (maybe once or twice a day).

Marius and Spikes
I have had a couple of times when the page has not opened properly, but since ditching Vodacom and moving to ADSL there have been no problems.

The problem seems less on 3G than on ADSL or Edge

I do need some help and hope somebody out there will be able to give advice: I always use Google as my Home Page, but for some or other reason Yahoo keeps on popping up since this evening. Whatever I do, I am simple not able to get rid of the freaking Yahoo page on my PC. Even when I enter the www.Google.com web address on my PC, the freaking Yahoo web page keep on popping up as well ! I use Mozilla Firefox , and my Home Page setting at the "Tools" setting is still www.google .com/ - so why does the Yahoo web page keep on popping up ?? Any help will be appreciated. Danie

Danie Hi Danie Apart from a virus - were you able to scan for Trojans and Malware/Spyware? If you did a virus scan and you picked up no harmful software (excl Cookies) it may well be that you recently installed some new software that made Yahoo your default search engine in your browser. You can also try and solve this by restoring your system to when it was all still running ok. Marius

Hi Danie the latest update from Mozilla set the "search" default on my PC to Yahoo as well, but left the homepage(start page) alone The "search" is easy to sort out. Have a look in the "search" toolbar; top r/hand corner of the screen. There is a drop down menu button next to "yahoo" or whatever you now have in there.By clicking on that button, you can banish "yahoo" by removing it completely. Hi Marius / Spikes
Thanks, at the moment I am using my wife's PC - my computer has finally died recently, so maybe my wife has installed new software recently. A Bit-Defender scanner has been installed on the PC, and by having a quick look, I am not sure whether it will pick up any Trojans and Malware / Spyware.
Thanks Spikes - will have another look at your comments whenever I do experience the same problem in future.
Charles, I never liked Yahoo either - and since yesterday I started hating Yahoo as well . ;D

Some member / visitors who currently try to visit this Forum seem to have a problem when they try to visit the Forum.
The problem could be linked to members / visitors who use Firefox as browser, or the problem could be linked to a new cookie at the Forum.

I still experience the same problem when I use Firefox as browser to get access to the forum. At the moment I am using Internet Explorer (64 bit) , without problems.
I have done a Google search about the problem - a cookie (or whatever is ) called "Read ads Pubmatic 'dot' com" - it seems to be a global problem.
I have tried a number of suggestions at Firefox to get rid of the Pubmatic problem, without success.
What I do find very strange, is that I do not experience the Pubmatic problem when I visit other websites, when I use Firefox. It's only when I use Firefox, and then try to get access to the Locsa forum when this freaking Pubmatic thing jams everything.

Danie you could have installed a program recently that could be the cause of the hijack. If you installed such a program - uninstall it (including possible toolbars) and see if persists.
