Hi
Just had a notice in Chrome pop up to notify me that certain extensions had been disabled to improve speed.
Among the extensions disabled was my Anti-virus program.
The notice popped up when I hovered near the chrome menu button.
After I enabled the anti-virus, I could not get the pop-up back
Cheers (sharks won ;D ;D ;D)

Spikes, sorry I dumed Chrome a while ago, when I noticed that when it was idling in the background, it would start transferring massive amounts of data, so I can help you get it back unfortunately.

No I do not want the pop-up back. Its gone posted to inform users how to make it go away. Marius also reported uploading data of data but specifically on this site. I think he also uses chrome

I use Firefox - also have Chrome which is slightly faster but I prefer to use Firefox. I had an issue for about 2-3 days when a lot of data was downloaded from my PC as soon as I opened the LOCSA forum page - none of the other pages that I frequent did this. The scanners did not pick up anything malicious and everything seems ok now.

Hi Marius, you are so lucky that you can open the LOCSA site :-) I can still only open it about once in every ten tries. Spikes has been great with his computer problem solving advice and it's now down to the DLink router 'techies' to try and sort out the problem from their end. Regards to all at LOCSA, Keith and CERATOTH.

Tjeers Steve As far as I can make out, it has to do with syncing across devices that you have used. Spikes
