Hi all
So I traded my Niva today. No more Niva. Was a hard decision but I had to do it. Got a good deal.

Very good looking BMW cruiser - great bike! At the same time very sad to see that you are now Niva less! Marius

That's shocking news Charles. Now many times you declared you love your Niva more than anything else...!!!!
We don't need to lose you. Do you want me to bring you another one? I'll be in Jeffreys Bay on 24-25-26 March. And I choose this place especially that you and Ari are over there and we can get a good Lada fun.
Now what??

I will not leave the forum. Too many good friends here.
Ventz I just got a very good deal. More than I would have even been able to get for my Niva. I was just tired of all the stupid changes previous owners made to the niva.
Will get one again but then it has to be stock. Just dont have the money now.
Hopefully Ari's Niva will be finished by that time.

Charles, I'm glad you got a good deal. I sure hope you will have the money to buy another Lada some time soon.

you will most certainly be missed... Niva community has lost a pioneer not only in the field but as a friend.. think we should start a fund raising to get you a niva..put that on the pole and I'll be the first to drag along some savings and chuck it in!

Hi Charles,
You are complaining of "... all the stupid changes previous owners made to the Niva."
But what about your own modification of the window mechanism from VW Golf?? It's one of the most bizarre I've ever seen. Irreversible..
