Tyre size is 215/80R15, diameter of ca.73cm.
Very good mud tyre, was the best of all at last year Karpat tour. I hope they will be driveable on highway.
greets Jakob

Again i couldnt join the big Lada meeting Hear many funny stories from other members, it seems we have to meet one day You can use my pictures for everything you want. I also can send in bigger size, just write me a message. Two weeks hard offroad in the Karpatians left some damage on my Niva. But nothing serious Here some pictures: rear pumber fixing one side broken. Air spring inside rear spring was broken after two days. Than changed my very soft but long springs to this hard ones from Lada 2102: But its not perfect for me, i loose 15cm articualtion... so will insert old springs and new air again. Also one rear shok is damaged. The downside fixing bolt was broken: This free shok also destroyed my reinforced panhardstab: Now it is time to order new shoks, off course with maximum possible length. That for i have to do like this: Also both rear wheel bearing had been broken. In the middle of a river... in Ukraine no problem, you get all possible Lada parts immeditly, even in the smallest village in the mountains. A abolut Lada- paradise more pictures will follow... greets Jakob

I started modifing rear axle and got new shocks, again Rancho. Work is very slow, to less time. Here some pics: Shocks get more distance to axle. For air shock i got a new press plate, old red one was damged badly. upper trailing arm fixing will be replaced at axle side to turn the axle in correct position. First test look good, axle can move more than before and has better postion. No more problems with drive shaft at maximum offset. New shocks are 30mm longer, also i move fixing 20mm up, so at all about 5cm more offset. Next i will prepare a new buffer for the axle in case of overload or brake down of springs... pics will come. greets Jakob

Good work as always. The articulation at the back of your niva is impressive

So, all fixings are weld. fully compressed: axle total free: (lowest postion) before drive shaft was working gainst itself in hard situations, rear joint: front joint: After this year summer problems with too much load i want a stop for the axle. Original niva has two, both inside the spring. I had to cut these for the added airsprings. And the original one in the middle, downside the car dont work any more. Shocks already block before it get touched. I will try airspring again, but they are not safe enough... so my idea: will test it... fully compressed: total free: nearly fully articulated: rear joint in normal position with normal load: I cant wait to do first test drive... end of next week hopefully greets jakob
