It looks good. Are you going to convert the rear brakes to disks?

See no need for discs at the moment...will only deside after i used for a couple of months..however the drums at the back is quite hi tech in my opinion and should be more than sufficient....the calipers in front is a shock to see coming from high hp builds....its more advanced than willwood brakes on my 300hp mx 5? its twin pod calipers!!

I am desperately looking for someone to please assist me or guide me as to where i can find the speedo sender unit on the gearbox (mechanical one) of a mazda b2200 bakkie, as the speedo unit i have now is electrical and will not suffice with lada's cluster! and will most certainly get mamparra speedo readings if any at all! ;D Also need help with temp sender sensor, I am looking for which has the same ohm and volt readings or values as that of the lada but fits into my mazda engine...the thread on the lada is a m16x1,5 whilst that of the mazda is m12x1,5... If anyone can be of assitance it would highly be appreciated! Thanks guys!

For the temp sender unit cant you have a brass adapter made up?
The guy who works with me is into rotaries and the old rotary boxes are the same as the bakkie boxes. Ill ask him aswel if he doesn't maybe have one. Maybe you know some rotary guys up there?

Yes charles you are absolutely correct... I did not mention the rotary boxes as I thought theyd be extinct by now..but in all honesty that is the exact one I need! If my maths serve me correct (which is doubtfull : i need about a 17tooth speedo unit in the gearbox..the 1979 to 1984 rx7 did have this exact unit! I however thought since this is AFRICA and the last bit or shimmer of life is sqeeuzed out of each bakkie especially the old mazda B series ones( which uses the same unit just wih a tooth gear) i would have much better luck of finding one of these units to fit ito my gearbox! The one in there from the mx 5 has a electric one and this is way too liberal for our beloved little communist SUV's instrument cluster! If I understand correctly the 1.7 has 3.9 diff and withe the current tyres comming in at 215/75/15 the 17 tooth will work like a charm but the 18 tooth would be marginally out but still a workable version? Thanks for all your help charles, all the rotary guys is in joburg and not really connected with someone...although im pondering a rx 7 myself... ;D but first gotta buy a ring...

Nice work! The sound deadening does help with the heat and noise, but you still need some insulation and carpeting over it.
