Hi Marius
I have got a new laptop so we have had to look for the photos. Got them but they will need to be done via Photo Bucket which is beyond what I can do. Freda says she will mod the post for me tomorrow.

Hi Ronnie Do you know what the color code of that paint is ? I assume it's not the famous "British Racing Green" ?
It really looks great.

Hi Danie
Sorry I don`t know the paint code, but I would think it is an original Lada color as some inside parts were not repainted and they match the outside perfectly.

Hi All here is a photo of a ladder I have just made. It is more or less the same as Ari`s. All I need now is a Roof Rack To go with it. ;D

Hi Ronnie
The ladder is seriously nice - great work!
I presume the tires/rims are the 15" from Jan? If it is - I believe they are steel rims which is quite handy when off-road.

Hi Marius
The rims are side kick alloys with Khumo 195x15x100s AT Supplied with the rebuild by Centunion.

Hi
Now I wonder who stole my ladder last night and mounted it on their lada ??
Just joking Ronnie. Why is it on the left when you mounted mine on the right??

OK! I would have though that he fitted his "own" - they are also another option. Last time I visited Centurion they were R4600 for a complete set - but that quite some time ago. Personally I would like to keep the 16" rim as it gives better clearance. The alloys looks very nice though

Hi Ari
The 2 vertical sides ended up slightly different lengths due to the curve of the tailgate at the corner. I got the 2 mixed up and it was easier to put it on the left than altering it.

Hi Marius
The day I collected the Lada from centurion I saw a pile of new steel rims there. I assume they are the ones you were referring too.I also assume his price includes new tyres of some kind.

Hi Ronnie
Yes - those come with new tires. I've seen some of the Nivas fitted with those and it looks real nice.

Hi Ronnie
I assume the new steel rims you are referring to are original Lada 16" rims ?
I think there must be hundreds of those scattered all over the country - many owners started buying 15" rims because 15" rims offer a better choice, and tyres are freely available.
And by the way, that ladder really looks professional............Perhaps you should think about making and selling them............

Hi Danie The steel rims Jan has are 15 inch and from what I remember they were gunmetal grey. Marius may know more about them. As far as ladders go my welding leaves a lot to be desired. I can do most things when I put my mind to it, but welding for some reason beats me. Regards Ronnie

Hi Ronnie.
Your ladder look stunning. The steel rims Jan supply are grey steel 15" rims and were original fitted on the Intermediant Lada. On Jan's web side is a photo of the Intermidient with the steel 15" grey rims.

Hi Ronnie.
I was down with flu and the granddaughter was in hospital the past week. Busy to see what next to be done on the Lada. Look like brake shoes and disc pads plus left side front wheel bearings. The Elantra also needs a service at the end of the month.
Regards.

Hi All In previous photos you would see the upholstery was all Camo which was of a very poor quality. I have stripped the seats and door trims, cleaned it all and this is the result which I think looks much better ;D Regards Ronnie

Hi Loukie
Welcome to the forum. Your Lada looks great. I am sure it is the only one on the forum with a 2L fiat motor and open back. As a mater of interest, there is a green one for sale in junk mail just now and it looks similar. Looking forward to seeing more photos.

Hi Darryn I have moved here so we don`t get accused of hi-jacking their thread ;D. This was a rebuilt vehicle, and some things like the paint work was very good. other things were a let down. Any way as I am retired the other things have kept me busy . Regards Ronnie

Hi Spikes
Your Lada looks good. Mine has the same color, but a couple of small rust spots need some TLC.
The coastal weather obviously took it's toll a bit.
