Thanks Gav. I think Stephen would be interested in the show. He is also involved with Voluntary Emergency rescue work. We do not have similar shows here, more is the pity

Gav, good morning.
The car's now running, but need some repairs done: Bought the Niva with only 4 speeds working first thought it was a 4-speed box. Had the GB recently repaired after parts were bought from LadaPower. There seems to be a problem though: If the clutch is not pressed with the car in neutral, the propshaft between the engine & TC keeps turning. The Car also has a vibration in the TC/GB area. Could be the doughnot which was not clamped during removal and not marked to replace at the exact point of removal. Also had a slight rubber burn smell when the GB was replaced. Will replace the Rubber Doughnut and also the bolts & nuts that secures the GB & TC needs to be replaced. I would also love to replace the Tyres, Seats, fix the water leak @ the windows, have the car sprayed, Fix the lights, do a Sound upgrade, Install my 2m Radio & Antenna, install amber LED emergency lights. Not much to do, but will take time as I use the car during rainy periods for my Daily Drive.
Regards Stephen

I am only running 1 silencer in the middle due to the second fuel tank. I havent got a noise problem.

Glad your NIVA is through

Hi Spikes no it wasnt part of the test it was only the testers opinion that it was to loud..In all honesty i think he may have been disappointed that he couldnt find anything to fail it on..
