Hi Dimitris ,From what ive learned from the HHO forums ive found that setting your timming to 2 Deg BTDC gives you the best fuel consumption while using HHO Gas .To simply set your mixture screw /air to fuel ratio/ When motor reaches operating temp simply start screwing the mixture screw inwards very slowly till the engine starts to slow and run very rough then slowly screw the mixture screw outward slowly slowly till the engine Rpm starts to increase and keep tuning till your engine run nice and smooth .That parts now done .Re-adjust idling screw to around 850 or 900 RPM and that job is done my Freind .Your video is ecellent and the production looks like its making around 1 or 1.5 litres of HHO Per Minute and may need to be cut back to around 3/4 of a Litre per Minute for Peak Performance .Maybe you can drop your amps down to around 5 or 6 amps and start test runs while slowly increasing amps on each run till you find the sweet spot for best fuel cosumption mate .Great job Dimitris .Cheers Trev .

Hi Trev, I was waiting ......... like a good student waiting for the teacher's comment!!!! Thank you, because you have helped me too much. I understand what you mean on the carburetor, and I do exactly the same. www.redlineweber.com/html/Tech/carburetor_set_up_and_lean_best_.htmThe next days I'll have a trip about 400 km and then I will know if the generator is working well on the temperature and fuel consumption.....etc. THANKS AGAIN!!!!! Cheers, Dimitris

Please post as much detail as possible, like how easy it is to install, what it costs and how well it works. Hi Conrad, I bought some parts from China and some from here. The total cost was about 200 Euros, ie three fillings of the fuel tank.

Hi Dimitris,How is your HHO system going as its been awhile since we heard from you Mate .Hope all is good for you .Cheers Trev . Hi Trev, I am ok friend. The generator works fine but yet I haven't made the trip that is needed for me to find out the accurate fuel consumption. I will know in the next 10 days and I will update my results. I measured the air flow with the 2-bottle mechanism and the generator produces 500ml / 26sec / 10Amp. Cheers Dimitris

Hi Dimitris
That should be sufficient for a successful conversion. The strain on the power is quite low.
Waiting for the consumption figures.........

So am I. I worked out that on the offroad portion of my trip up sani pass I averaged 5.5 km/l, so I would really love to find a way to boost fuel economy!

Hi Dimitris ,Your output test sounds good at a round 1 litre a minute which is sufficient to run your niva so when you go on your 400 kilometre run you should do 200 ks at 10 Amps then record results then the next 200 ks at 6 amps and record results .It would be good to see results of the 2 different Amp Settings and that would tell you exactly what amount of HHO suits your Niva motor best mate . Sounds like you are really on the right track for success my freind .Congratulations on your install as it is one of the neattest and cleanest installs ive seen so far and i have seen many as has others .Well done my Freind .Have Fun . Am looking forward to your results as are many others aye .Cheers Trev.

Hi Guys ,Its just so good to see that Dimitris is now having some success with his system as he deserves to. At the start of his project he asked the questions to us all, and reading all he could from the mentioned Forums and has learned alot about HHO and its workings, and is now well on the road to success on fuel saving which is what the unit is all about .If we all share our info on the forum as we do, i think a lot can be acheived and many more of us can enjoy the fuel savings that we get as the savings can be substancial over a 12 month period . Anyway guys thats just my 2 cents worth aye .Good luck .Cheers Trev .

I think we will all be waiting for the results of Dimitris`s consumption results. Petrol is a very expensive commodity these days.

Hi Ronnie & Trevor I have seen a lot of hh0 installations reviewed and displayed on the Internet. I really think Dimitris' set-up is the neatest, very well researched and published that I have come across. Dimitris went into a lot of trouble to position the gas generator in the best position on the NIVA. It should deliver Spikes

Hi all, I returned home tonight. The news on the generator are as follows. I filled the fuel tank and I drove 135 kilometers with the generator working at 12 Amp. and the motor at 2.900 - 3.100 rpm. (The load in the car was approximately 200 kg and it was towing an empty trailer . The weight of the trailer is about 220 kg). I refilled the fuel tank...... 135 km >> 14,5 liters. Because I make this route often with similar loads (I have a small house there in the village) I know that the fuel consumption is about 15 liters. For the return I refilled the fuel tank. But the Niva was now loaded with 450 kg and towed the trailer with a load of 500kg. I drove 135 kilometers with the generator working at 10 Amp and the motor at 2500 - 2700 rpm. The gauge showed that the fuel consumption was similar, about 15 lit but when I will refill the tank I'll know exactly. In any case I think that the engine performs better at low rpm. Trev, I am waiting for your comments Ps. Before the trip I had made an exhaust measure with the HHO generator ON and OFF, and there was no difference neither at 850-900rpm nor at 2500-3000rpm. Enjoy Dimitris!! Hope you did not forget your camera and spare SD cards Spikes Hi Spikes, I went to a nudist beach .......photos and videos soon!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Cheers, Dimitris

Glad it went well. It seems as if there is an improvement in performance under load then.
