Ari, In your last photo, looking down on the steering box - see the lug sticking out to the right at the top, the one with the hole in it? Grind it off when you get a chance. It's amazing how much easier it is to remove/replace the box in the future when everything's back in place if that's not there! Looking good, by the way. Regards, John

Hi Ari
The picture is not very clear, but if you want to try to bend it remove the pipe from the master cylinder first as if it is connected you run the risk of breaking it at the connection. It might be easier to have a new pipe made ?.

This is a very nice small window. I haven't seen this before. Wish my Lada had this window set-up. I think it is ideal for our warm African weather. Is it an aftermarket window, Ari?

Hi Christiaan
The small windows are quarter lights and all Niva's had them up till the late 90's. They help in the warm weather but there is nothing to beat an Air con in my opinion.

Thanks Ronnie, I don't have an aircon in my Lada but have those Triangle windows in our VW Beatle. Sure is nice if you don't have an aircon.

They do help alot. I also kept my ones open a little bit in winter as it helped to keep the windscreen from freezing up.
