Preparing for a short road trip. Fabricating a roof rack for my rooftop tent. Still need to make the mounting points. The Checkers Hyper roof racks are just to hole my roof rack while fabricating mounting points. Also need to refit my jerry-can holders (making mounts on roof rack) which were attached to the gutters.

That's a clever idea for mounting your Jerry can. Do you find it blocks the view from the mirror at all?
